Keep Google informed Keeping your job openings accurate and up-to-date is crucial to keeping a strong site reputation. So, anytime you add, change or remove job postings, Google needs to know. REQUIRED FIELDS • Date posted—The original date the job was posted. • Job description—The full description of the job, including job responsibilities, qualifications, skills, etc. Should not be same as the job title. • Company name—The name of the company offering the job position, and not the specific location name. For example, "Starbucks, Inc." instead of "Starbucks on Main Street." • Job location—The street-level address for the location where the employee will primarily work, not your corporate location or where the job was posted. • Job title—The title of the job only. For example, "Cashier" instead of "CASHIER MAIN STREET HIRING NOW! ON A BUS ROUTE!" • Expiration date—The date when the job posting will expire/close. If a job posting never expires, don't include this property. RECOMMENDED FIELDS • Pay—The actual base pay or pay range for the job, not an estimate. You can also specify pay unit, like hourly or weekly. • Employment type —The position's employment type. For example, Full Time, Part Time, Temporary, etc. • Job ID—Your unique identifier for the job. Add structured data markup to each job posting Google uses structured data markup in your website's HTML to identify, classify and surface jobs and job info. Set each job page type to Job Posting and use the correct schema.org markup for the required fields below.
